Middle East airlines have experienced a demand increase of 9.9% in September showing a robust rate of growth. Although the increase was down on the 13.7% year-over year growth experienced in August, capacity rose 12.9%. The figures, released by the International Air Transport Association (IATA), also reveal that the Middle Eastern load factor slipped 2.1 percentage points to 75.7%. International figures show that airlines across all regions recorded growth.
