Emirati businessman Abdul Rahim Mohammed Belghozooz Al Zarooni has contributed AED 10 million to the Fathers’ Endowment campaign, launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and the Ruler of Dubai.
Coinciding with Ramadan, the campaign honours fathers in the UAE by establishing a sustainable endowment fund to provide treatment and healthcare for the poor and needy.
This contribution is part of the widespread response to the Fathers’ Endowment campaign, an initiative of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives (MBRGI) that aims to honour fathers by allowing individuals to donate in their name, while promoting the values of honouring parents, compassion, and solidarity.
The campaign reinforces values of generosity, solidarity, and humanitarian connection with people around the globe, while actively competing in global charitable initiatives.
Following his contribution Al Zarooni said that the Fathers' Endowment campaign embodies Sheikh Mohammed's vision of sustainable philanthropy and generosity. He noted that the campaign aims to create a positive impact in underserved communities by helping people meet their basic needs and build a better future, fostering stability and hope.
Al Zarooni said, “Providing sustainable healthcare for the poor and needy worldwide is a core objective of both the UAE and the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives. This generous Ramadan campaign empowers us to honour our fathers while upholding the values of giving that are integral to our society. We hope our support will help ensure access to essential medication and treatment for those who need it most."
