Just a month after three blasts rocked Kathmandu, Nepali police have uncovered 28 suspicious packages from across the country early Tuesday.
Authorities confirmed that not all packages were bombs, and were intended to create a sense of fear among the people.
"At least two suspected packages were found in Kirtipur and Jawalakhel in Kathmandu Valley but it proved to be a hoax," said Nepal Police Spokesperson Bishowraj Pokharel.
An investigation into the incident is currently underway.
