Yemen's Saudi-led coalition has reported carrying out an operation to neutralise the civilian resources and fuel sites used by the Houthis that supported their attacks on Saudi Arabia.
In a statement shared by the Saudi Press Agency, the coalition said the group used Al-Sabaha Central Station in Sanaa, underground reserve fuel storage facilities, fuel tanks, and berths designated for transporting and unloading fuel in Al-Hodeidah, Sanaa, and Dhamar.
The coalition noted that Houthis used these sites to support their operations by supplying their arsenal of missiles and UAVs, threatening Saudi Arabia's security and the safety of its airports, ports, and commercial vessels in the Red Sea.
They added that, by using these facilities and resources, the group deprived Yemeni citizens of using these resources to meet their needs.
They said the use of these resources contributed to the Houthis' execution of attacks against civilians in the Kingdom and commercial vessels in international waterways.
The coalition's operation is being carried out to prevent the group from posing any further threats to the Kingdom, Yemen, the southern Red Sea, and waterways.
It reaffirmed its strict commitment to international humanitarian law, taking all precautions to avoid any casualties or damage during its execution of the operation.
