The UAE has confirmed 2,629 new cases of COVID-19 from 499,001 tests in the past 24 hours.
Another 1,115 people have recovered, taking the overall tally to 769,458.
Five patients have died, taking the total number of fatalities to 2,219.
A total of 828,328 cases have been diagnosed in the UAE so far, out of which 56,651 are currently active.
