Dubai Metro services on the Red Line resumed after suffering delays on Friday morning.
Stations between Equiti Station and Jabal Ali Station were affected by what the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) called a "technical fault".
Alternative buses were provided for passengers and the RTA thanked those affected for their understanding.
Within 30 minutes it tweeted that its service was back to normal.
