Celebrations honouring workers were held across 30 locations in the UAE during the Eid Al Adha holiday, with around 300,000 people taking part.
The events featured entertainment shows, folk performances, interactive competitions, and raffle draws for major prizes, including a car and travel tickets.
Gifts were also distributed to workers at celebration sites across the country.
The programme was organised by the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation, in partnership with several federal and local government entities, emergency services, and private sector companies.
A number of businesses also hosted their own activities alongside the Ministry’s initiative, reflecting the UAE’s continued commitment to supporting workers and promoting their wellbeing and social inclusion.
Officials say the celebrations are part of ongoing efforts to recognise workers’ contributions to the country’s development, while enhancing their quality of life and sense of community.
"Our Workers’ Happiness, the Joy of our Eid" events featured activities, raffles, and gifts for workers on Eid Al Adha, enhancing their happiness and stability, in appreciation of their efforts as active partners in development.#UAE #MOHREhttps://t.co/36kIbOe9iN
