The Zayed Giving Initiative has launched a programme for training doctors and nurses in field medicine. According to national news agency WAM, it’ll enable them to undertake local and international humanitarian missions, as part of its voluntary team. More than 10,000 medical professionals have been trained by the Zayed Giving Initiative and National Training LLC in the last decade. It’s led to three million children receiving treatment around the world, and over 7,000 surgeries being conducted.
