Twitter has suffered a major outage, leaving users unable to access the microblogging platform.
Multiple features on Twitter were experiencing issues, as users reported problems with broken links, images and third-party apps.
Downdetector, a website that tracks traffic-related issues on major websites saw a spike in the number of complaints from 8:40 pm UAE time.
Netizens complained of being unable to access tweets of other users, with a message reading: "Your current API plan does not include access to this endpoint, please see https://developer.twitter.com/en/docs/twitter-api for more information".
