The UAE has successfully concluded its participation in the 2025 World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, which took place from January 20 to 24.
Led by Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of the Dubai Culture & Arts Authority, the UAE delegation was one of the largest at this year’s event.
They took part in crucial discussions focused on addressing global challenges and exploring opportunities for international collaboration.
The forum’s theme, "Collaboration in an Intelligent Age," resonated strongly with the UAE’s commitment to sustainable development and leveraging advanced technology for transformative solutions.
The delegation, which included over 100 CEOs, private sector leaders, and government officials, highlighted the UAE’s dedication to fostering global partnerships and contributing to development efforts worldwide.
Sheikha Latifa participated in key sessions, sharing insights on the UAE’s achievements and engaging in discussions with global leaders.
She met with notable figures including Nobel Laureate Professor Muhammad Yunus, former Thai Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra, and Hilde Schwab, Co-Founder of the Schwab Foundation for Social Entrepreneurship.
Sheikha Latifa also toured exhibitions exploring the intersection of arts, culture, and technology in addressing global challenges and driving sustainable development.
Mohammed Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs, emphasized that the UAE’s presence at the forum, reflects the country's strong commitment to international partnerships and sustainable development.
Al Gergawi also noted the growing role of UAE national and private sector companies at Davos, showcasing their integral role in the nation’s economic growth and global outreach.
