The UAE has strongly condemned the ballistic missile attack on Erbil, in the Kurdistan region of Iraq.
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MoFA) said the aim of the attack was to destabilise the country in violation of the principles of international law.
The Ministry affirmed the UAE's solidarity with all the measures Iraq takes to ensure its security, stability and sovereignty.
The statement also said they stand with the country in confronting terrorism.
