The UAE Armed Forces have dealt with a drone over the country's territorial waters that came from Iran, according to the Ministry of Defence.
The ministry said the Armed Forces remain on high alert and ready to respond to any threats.
It added that air defence systems continue to monitor and track the country's airspace around the clock.
The Ministry of Defence also urged the public to rely on official sources for information and avoid circulating rumours or false information.
