The UAE Field Hospital in the Gaza Strip has opened a Prosthetic Limb Centre, as part of Operation "Gallant Knight 3".
The centre will operate in several stages, starting with taking the patient's measurements, followed by making the limb, and then physical therapy and rehabilitation of the injured.
On the first day of operation, 36 injured had their measurements taken, with the number of cases expected to reach more than 100 within a few days.
Operation "Gallant Knight 3" was launched by the UAE in November 2023 under the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to support the Palestinian people.
