Authorities in the UAE have announced the implementation of distance learning from Tuesday, May 5, until Friday, May 8, for nurseries, public and private schools, as well as higher education institutions nationwide.
The Ministry of Education said that the situation will be reviewed on Friday and the remote learning period may be extended if required.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research added that exemptions to distance learning may apply to priority academic programmes requiring clinical training, laboratory work, practical/ field-based learning, or in-person exams.
