Simona Halep claimed her maiden Wimbledon title after destroying Serena Williams in less than an hour in the finals.
The one-sided affair ended the American's bid to win a record-equalling 24th Grand Slam.
Halep's comfortable 6-2, 6-2, win was her second Grand Slam triumph after she won the 2018 French Open.
Meanwhile Juan Sebastian Cabal and Robert Farah beat pair Nicolas Mahut and Edouard Roger-Vasselin in a five-set thriller to win the men's doubles final on Centre Court.
