Former champion Tirfi Tsegaye Beyene is the latest high-profile name to confirm participation in the world’s richest marathon, which gets underway on January 22. The 31-year-old Ethiopian joins a powerful women’s line-up in the event, set to be held in an Olympic year. Competition is expected to be fierce as runners look to secure impressive times and national team selection for Rio 2016.
